Sun City West
Eighty-five per cent of residents are 65 or over. Banner Del E. Webb and Banner Boswell are the local hospitals.
Where we work
One agency covering the whole Valley, which matters more than it sounds: the right home for your parent may not be in the city you started looking in.
City guides
Each of these is written for that city specifically — the hospitals that discharge there, the communities families ask about, and what senior care actually looks like locally.

The Grand, Arizona Traditions and Sun Village, plus the PAM rehabilitation hospital on Bell Road.
No hospital of its own, so discharges arrive from four different systems. We work all of them.
Almost no age-restricted communities inside the city limits, which changes where families place a parent.
The Valley’s highest share of residents over 65, and its largest cluster of skilled nursing facilities.
A quiet residential town; most options are in neighbouring Scottsdale and North Central Phoenix.
Desert foothill towns with few licensed settings of their own; distance is part of the decision.
A hillside retirement town where families often want a parent to stay close to friends.
A family East Valley town where many adult children live near their parents.
Leisure World, Sunland Village and Dreamland Villa, with Banner Baywood and HonorHealth Four Peaks nearby.
A young city next door to a community where four in five residents are over 65.
Families almost always begin by searching in their own suburb, which is reasonable and often a mistake. Availability at a given level of care, at a given price, for a given payer is genuinely scarce — and it does not distribute itself evenly across the map.
A family in Surprise looking for a directed-care home that accepts ALTCS may find the right one in Peoria. A Queen Creek family may find it in Mesa. A twenty-minute difference in drive time is usually worth a substantially better fit, and we would rather tell you that than pretend the perfect home happens to be on your street.
Sun City West, Sun City, and Surprise have one of the highest concentrations of residents over 65 anywhere in Arizona — and, oddly, some of the thinnest placement-agency coverage. Several Phoenix agencies do not work the far West Valley at all. We do.
We take referrals from case managers, discharge planners, and social workers at Banner and Abrazo facilities, as well as from physicians, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centres across the metro. If you are one of them, this page is for you.
